The issue of minorities in international relations can be analyzed at the level of human rights, international law or security. Although all of these levels of analysis are interlinked, this article will focus only on the security issues that minorities pose to states today, with particular reference to the Balkan region.
Resumo
A questão das minorias nas relações internacionais pode ser analisada ao nível dos direitos humanos, do direito internacional ou da segurança. Apesar de todos estes níveis de análise estarem interligados, este artigo irá debruçar-se apenas sobre as questões de segurança que as minorias colocam hoje aos Estados, com referência especial à região dos Balcãs.
