The structure of this work takes as its starting point the formulation of the following question: what is post-national in European Citizenship as a legal instrument of rights complementary to national citizenships and as a political instrument emanating from a supranational entity?

A estrutura deste trabalho toma como ponto de partida a formulação da seguinte questão: o que há de pós-nacional na Cidadania Europeia enquanto instrumento jurídico de direitos complementares às cidadanias nacionais e enquanto instrumento político emanado de uma entidade supranacional?
